How do I book my first appointment?

The simplest way is to call or WhatsApp Dr. Saha's appointment line on +91 79800 29683, or tap any "Chat on WhatsApp" button on this site. We'll find a time that works for you.

Can I consult by phone or online?

Yes. Dr. Saha consults in person at his chambers in Kolkata, and also by phone, online and on WhatsApp.

What should I expect at my first consultation?

Your first consultation includes a psychiatric assessment: what's brought you here, your symptoms and history, and any questions you have. There's no pressure to share more than feels comfortable.

Which service is right for me?

If you're not sure, that's completely normal. Just reach out and describe what you're going through, and Dr. Saha will recommend the right care after an assessment.

Where does Dr. Saha consult?

His primary chamber is at Happy Minds, 195 Canal Street, Sreebhumi, Lake Town, Kolkata 700048. He also consults at Miracle Institute Of Psychiatry Kolkata, 283 Jodhpur Park, Kolkata 700068 (contact: 98302 77607).

What are the consultation timings?

Happy Minds is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Please call or WhatsApp +91 79800 29683 to confirm Dr. Saha's timings before you visit.

Which languages can I consult in?

Consultations are available in Bengali, Hindi and English.

How often will I need follow-up visits?

This varies from person to person and depends on your condition and treatment plan. Dr. Saha will talk this through with you.

What conditions does Dr. Saha treat?

A wide range, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, eating disorders, alcoholism and nicotine dependence, and sleep disorders such as insomnia and narcolepsy. The full list is on the About page.

Do you treat children and adolescents?

Yes. Dr. Saha is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and treats concerns such as ADHD, bedwetting, oppositional defiant disorder and separation anxiety, working closely with parents.

What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?

CBT is an evidence-based approach that helps you identify the thought patterns fuelling anxiety or self-doubt, and gives you practical tools to reframe them and respond differently.

What procedures does Dr. Saha perform?

Psychiatric Assessment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behaviour Therapy and Electrotherapy.

Is everything I share confidential?

Completely. Everything discussed during your consultation is held in strict confidence, in line with medical and professional standards.

Are there any limits to confidentiality?

In rare, legally-defined situations, such as a serious risk of harm to yourself or someone else, confidentiality may need to be broken. Where possible, we'll always discuss this with you first. Full details are in our Terms of Use.

How much does a consultation cost?

Fees are confirmed with you directly when you book, so there are never any surprises.

Is health insurance accepted?

Yes. All Indian health insurance companies are accepted.
